Monday night, Glenn had a slight fever and pain in his lower abdomen. The oncologist wanted his to get it checked out before we got on the plane, so we spent Monday night until after midnight wondering if we were going to make it. Then we had o get up at 4:15 to get to Spokane to catch the plane. I am in a sleep deficit.
Star struck and busy,I did not start taking pictures until we were headed through the "Jurassic Park" mountains to our bungalow. My phone was handy and when we were surrounded by this double rainbow I had to start clicking. I was just barley able to capture the essence, it was so close we could almost touch it, and it was on both sides of the car. This is called the rainbow state, and we were treated to magnificent rainbows on our first day. (Now bring on the sunshine.)
The sky was spectacular, wish I had a photo that could capture it, but I wanted to show the first glimpse we had of the ocean. Hopefully I can post little daily snippets of our first vacation in Hawaii.
PS Glenn has been having some rocky evenings this past week, and last night was no exception. He gets an upset abdomen after dinner and a slight fever, I don't think we are going to feed him dinner again....
