Water Carved Rocks From the Lost River Bottoms at Box Canyon near the Oregon Trail just south of Arco, Idaho. I love geology! There is a lot of it in the Lost River Valley where I grew up.

After being the first person to descover the rocks at box canyon with Kirby I finally get to see some pictures of them. They are still one of the wonders of my peronal part of the globe. Why did it take so long to find them? Dad would have loved them as much as all of us do. Thanks for the slide show and the pictures of the harvest along with your story.
