Glenn's last check up

Glenn gets a check up every three weeks.  This past Monday (we had company) he saw his doctor.  His marker went down from 11.2 to 11.  Not a big drop, but it did not go up either.  So that is good.  He did not completely get over his side effects from his last dose of Chemo before he had to start again.  The side effect is sore hands and feet, mostly sore thumb joints with the skin coming off (ouch).  The DR.changed his treatment plan from two weeks on one week off to one week on, one week off.  Hopefully he will tolerate that plan better, it seems like his body is getting a build up of the chemo.  He seems to be a little more sick (and tired) when he takes his pills this time than he has been before. I think he is so brave to take them when he knows he won't be feeling very good for an hour or so afterwards.
Other than that he is doing good..

We enjoyed having Heather and Kirk here, Kimberly and Curtis also spend some time with us.  It was nice having them and the grand babies here.

Today the teacher posted my grade on my first paper for the class I am taking , it is 15/15. I am so relieved  I am working on a paper that is due tomorrow, then I have three more weeks and I will be 1/2 way through my program.  It is going so fast and I am really enjoying it.  I have a paper due on the 10th and a final power point of film due on the 16th.  With Hawaii sandwiched in the middle! 

Who could be luckier than me?  Life is good..
