With a trip to Kansas and a trip to Utah these past two weeks, we were able to see all 14 of our grand children. I won't tell you that they are the cutest, smartest, sweetest, funnest, and most talented children in the world, because you already know that.....about yours that is.
What amazes me about grandchildren is:
- Their love is unconditional.
- They are so excited to have us come.
- They are so sad to see us leave.
- They warm up to us pretty quickly when they are two and shy!
- They say and do the cutest things.
- They are completely honest, yet so nonjudgmental.
- They give cuddling a whole new meaning.
- They love to play games and are better at them than we are.
- They have boundless energy!
- They are each unique!
- Their is something about them that is so familiar, (like we knew them before they came.)
- They are in our thoughts and prayers every day and we miss them more than we knew was possible.
- Their parents are happy to share them with us and to see the love that flows between us!
- They are naturally respectful.
- It is such a great honor to be their grandparents....who knew that grand-parenting would be this special?
- They can melt your heart with a smile, a hug, a simple request, an "I love you" or just walking (hopping) beside you holding hands.
- We have great expectations as we think of each one of them.
Thank you to our children for giving us grandchildren and for willingly sharing them with us. It just gets better and better.
WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Amen!!!!!!!! I understand completely what you are saying. For me it would be hard to put into words, but you captured the beautiful feelings perfectly. Very glad you and Glenn were able to go on this trip to see the "angels" that our Father in Heaven has given your children and you.
I LOVED having you here last weekend. It was so fun, even if it was for just a brief moment. It was nice to just be with you and let Jack be with you too. We love you and are looking forward to seeing you again really soon!! You are both wonderful grandparents.

I've heard it said that Grandchildren make it OK to grow older! What a blessing they are. We spent this week-end with one of our families for an ordination, and have special events coming soon with grandchildren's wedding, baptisms graduation! What a blessing they are! So glad you were able to spent time with so many of yours and have such a wonderful time!
What a gift you have for writing feelings!
ME TOO!!!! I love your thoughts...who would have thought those noisy little people we gave birth to would turn around and surprise us with a life full of "little people" who we could fall in love with all over again!?! Go figure?!?! :)
Two of our greatest blessings are called Grandma and Grandpa!!
There, how did that rank on the sap-o-meter?
We loved having you here. We miss you all the time! Our kiddos can't wait to visit you!
