Sunday, March 21, my Aunt Florence Nightingale Kirby Forbush passed away at age 90. She is my mother's youngest sister. Mom (94) and Aunt Vi (97) are the only living siblings out of 8 children. Aunt Florence was born 5 weeks after her father passed away, leaving Grandma Kirby to raise 8 children. Grandma and Grandpa Kirby joined the church in Scotland and immigrated to America in 1912. He passed away 7 years later in 1919. Florence lived up to her name and became a nurse. She served in the Navy during World War II. We took advantage of a break in chemo to go to her funeral, which was last Saturday. All of my brothers and sisters were there as well as eight of my cousins (no picture yet). After the funeral on Saturday, we drove to Logan to see our grand son Chase and his parents. Sunday we went to Provo to meet our new little 3 month old grandson, Jack! What a cutie. We spent Monday with 7 other grand children and their parents. The girls made a cake and we celebrated my birthday in Jeremy and Birgitta's beautiful new home.

Tuesday we headed back to Idaho to see my mother. We were lucky enough to take Kimberly and Baylee with us so we took a 4 generation picture:I think my mom just looks great, she was very interested in all of us. She enjoyed seeing Baylee for the first time. It was a forced march, but we were glad to get out of town and spend time with so much of our family.
