Sunshine Saturday

We woke up to Sunshine and a blue sky. Glenn, always one to push a little farther, asked if he could go out side. He was told he could go where ever he felt like going. So we have taken a nice long walk and we found a bench in the sunshine. We just forgot to check to see if we could get back into the hospital, which we couldn't. Fortunately some one in scrubs came and let us in!

The walk pulled a little on his lungs, which I think was getting more air in there! His voice is gravely, but that will go away in a couple of days. He is just getting really funny about food. He wants some! He will be able to start with clear liquids tomorrow and they will do a barium test to make sure nothing is leaking. Then he can move to some foods like smooth yogurt.

He slept a little better last night. All in all, we think he is doing great! He takes lots of walks and has a great attitude! Of course he is looking forward to getting out of here.

So this is what he looks like after our walk! He looks fantastic to me as I was going through all the pictures we have taken since Tuesday morning. He has come a long way, and still has a ways to go. Thanks for all the faith and prayers and good thoughts that have come our way!
