Parking Predicaments.

When Glenn goes for radiation treatments we have to park in a parking garage. We get the parking ticket and validate it ourselves at the information center. He also has a card that the radiation department gave him so that he can park there for free.

By now the parking attendants know us and wave to us as we come in. A couple of weeks ago, when we were ready to drive out of the garage Glenn reached for his radiation pass and it wasn't in his pocket. Apparently when he took his shirt off for treatment, the pass fell out of his pocket in the dressing room. The parking attendant was very gracious and let us pass without paying because he knew that we owned the card, even if we couldn't find it. Glenn went back into that room and searched for the pass, but it was gone, gone gone. They reissued him one the next day, even though they would rather have people KEEP their pass for the duration of treatment. Thank you.

Yesterday, we were getting ready to show the attendant our two parking passes. As I was handing them to Glenn, one of them flipped out of his fingers and landed some where in the car. He looked and looked for it, but he couldn't find it. The sweet attendant told us it was fine, just go on through. Fortunately the pass that flipped out of his hand was the daily parking garage pass, but I tell you what, we have searched that car in every crevice and that card is no where to be found!

Last week we had an appointment in another part of town. When we arrived at our destination we pulled into the parking garage on the left of the street, instead of the one on the right. We had a feeling that we were in the wrong place. We eventually found the office that we were going to, and yes we were parked in the wrong garage, so our validation was invalid! That attendant was so understanding. Glenn was wearing a suit because we had gone to the temple earlier and we were driving our Chrysler 300. We obviously looked like we could pay the $11.00 it would cost to get out of there, but that sweet guy pulled out coupons and took off $3.00 at a time until the charge was $00. We think Seattle is a friendly place!

Glenn is having a good day today. We went to the temple again after this morning's treatments and then we had an afternoon appointment. He as done well all day, so far.

Tonight we are going to our niece and nephew, Seth and Kathy Perrins', apartment to watch a BYU Basket Ball game. She is fixing supper, has a 3 month old for me to enjoy and Glenn can watch BYU, now that's a pretty good diversion!
