Our first appointment this morning was at 2:15, which meant that we didn't have to get packed last night. This morning was a horse race to leave on time. We had so many things to do and to cross off our list. We made it here just on time!!!!
Glenn's blood counts are down from last week, but they are still really good. He feels good and has a lot of energy in his voice. He had radiation, a blood draw, consultation with the oncologist, and then three hours of in fusion. We were out of the Treatment Center by 8:00 P.M.
It was raining hard when we left Moses Lake, but cleared up as we got to the pass. The snow line is about one hundred feet above the freeway. So it is coming close. The pass is so beautiful with water falls every where and the beautiful fall colors on the trees.
It was raining when we left the SCCA Center and was not raining when we got to our Hotel (a 10 minute drive). We park 1 and 1/2 blocks away. It is a beautiful night, we could see the moon and the temperature is 60 degrees. It was a nice little walk. But we left Glenn's pills in the car, so he had to walk back and get them. Ugh!
Tomorrow we have an appointment with the dietitian and then radiation, we will be through by 10:30. So if we feel up to it, we can do something fun. Tuesday is usually a good day!

Go to a movie! That is, if you two could be sure to get your money's worth and not sleep through the whole thing!
Have a fabulous day tomorrow!
Oh, and Chase has started a habit of writing BYU on all of his papers that he creates. Soon, he started writing OK, circled with a line through it, since Oklahoma was the first team to beat the Cougs this season. Now, it's TCU's turn! Stinkin' TCU!
Despite the rain your day sounded sunny, encouraged and uplifting. I love how you write...I feel that I am right there seeing and feeling your choice spirits go forth with courage and faith. What an example you both are. I am so impressed and very thankful for people like you who have shared the path of life with me. God watch over you both. Hugs
I love your enthusiasm, Kathy. I know a great little milkshake shop if you feel up to it.
