HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTI

Today is Kristi's birthday! (Aug 6) Kristi is married to our son Erik. They met the year that he came home from his mission. He came home for Thanksgiving all 'aglow' over this girl that he had met from Chicago! We had warned him about dating girls from so far away, but he knew a wonderful catch when he found one, and we agree! She is a great catch!

They were married on November 7, 1996 in the Salt Lake Temple.


Kristi is a great wife, mother, sister, daughter in law, friend, and church member. She is such an asset to our family. They are the parents of 3 children with one on the way.


This is a picture of Erik and Kristi the first time we went to Nauvoo with them. It was at that time that the idea for a family reunion was hatched.



Ten years later she and Erik hosted a wonderful family reunion at Nauvoo. This is our family on the Trail of Hope. Kristi is the one closest to us.

She remembers to serve ice cream before we go to bed

She worked and sacrificed to help Erik finish his degree’s
She finished her degree after she had two children (what discipline)
She is a good home maker
She has many interests including decorating her home
She let us help them put in a flower garden in their new home
Even thought she hates spiders, she volunteered to sweep the shrubs of cob webs to prepare for Kimberly’s wedding!
She can name more bugs than I knew existed
She sees humor in everyday experiences
She is a gracious hostess
She is a faithful Latter-day Saint
She is a great cook
She can go with the flow, when the flow may be bumpy
She is smart
She is funny
She is very involved in her children’s education
It is fun to watch her when she is expecting because she knows exactly what stage the baby is in
She is fun to talk to and share life’s experiences with
She is really pretty inside and out
She is compassionate and not judgmental
She is about the same age as Seth, Jill, Birgitta, & Kirk
She is fun to shop with, a great bargain hunter
She has great ideas
It is fun to discuss literature and currant event with her
