Glenn's marker is down to 9.6. He has been taking a break from Chemo for two weeks and will be off for the rest of the month. (Merry Christmas!) He has an inflammation of the intestines, most likely diverticulitis. He just started taking antibiotics for that today. He is has some ups and downs, but overall improvement from the pain he has been experiencing. Good news and renewed hope!

So happy that his marker is finally down. So sad to think of him dealing with the 11's.
Sorry too that he got this infection which I understand his weakened condition, invites.
I got my oncologist nurse to give me a marker so that I can keep track. It's a different system that is called CA 27/29. In Jan I will have them monthly before my infusions to let them know if the pills are working. Probably the next one will be the same, after just one month, but it better go down after that or they will put me on something else.
Sounds like you had the same weather we do when we go to Hawaii but sorry Glenn suffered. dianne
Glad to hear the good news! Are you back from Hawaii? Your pictures are beautiful! L&V
Yeah for the numbers going down! Thanks to President Perrins for a most touching lesson today on the importance of temple work. It has been a blessing in my life to see temples dot the earth. I was born in Salt Lake, moved to LA (temple was built during our 5 year stay), moved to Idaho Falls, the Provo Temple ground breaking was my first week at BYU, then went to Brazil (temple was announced the month I came home), then Chicago (temple announced while there), then Albuquerque. We were there when one stake became two. They
were promised that when the 3rd stake was formed there would be a temple. . . . .Then Flagstaff and the Snowflake Temple. Then I lived in Mesa and now Moses Lake. So to make it the perfect story, we are looking forward to a temple here. I could write volumes of the temple and genealogy miracles of just this year. I love helping ward members get their names ready--helped Tina Wolfe get her grandparents and great grandparent's names ready this week. Love you! Tamara
