Out Of My Comfort Zone! But it is Not about ME, is it?

When our combined ward Halloween Costume Party came up, our Laurel class president commanded  "You have to dress up too"!  If you know anything about me at all, you know that Halloween, witches, and goblins are not my thing.  I am a Halloween Scrooge!  Passing out candy to the trick or treaters is about all I can muster.  I am costume challenged to boot!  But with the help of my creative daughter-in-law, I came up with a costume. I end up being the only adult from our ward in a costume, (UGH) and my girls were so busy dancing, talking and eating that they didn't even care! :-) But it not about me, is it?
Hehehehehehehehehehehehe! (-:

Luckily someone let me use his camera, so I acted like I really did belong out there in that dark shed, with the super loud music, dressed like a witch, and I took some pictures.  Most of them didn't turn out, but here are some that did.
The girls are really awesome and it really isn't about me!
The all enjoyed getting their pictures taken, I wish they had all turned out!
I tell them over and over that they are the best Laurel Class in the church and I really think they are!
Too bad I didn't get a picture of the fluffy
orange, lime and multicolored striped
fluffy ruffles that I put on the bottom of my
pants...but it isn't about me, is it?

Ya just have ta make th best of an "out of comfort zone" experience!

I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw you in costume. I've got to say your smile is still the greatest.
