In March we went to the BYU Idaho President's Club Banquet. This is where President Clark and his wife honor donors and share what is happening at BYU Idaho. Some years the Prophet has been there along with many other General Authorities. Glenn and I went in 2000 and 2001 and haven't been there since. We were so excited to be able to go this year. Here are some pictures that they took at the reception before the banquet. They have a photographer that travels with them and documents their events. 
President and Sister Eyring were so gracious as people just lined up to get their pictures taken with them. You can see President Clark in the background.
Elder Ballard had been talking to people and we stopped to talk to Sister Ballard. She was so cute. She told us that most people didn't bother to talk to her, they just wanted to talk to her husband, she was quite flattered. It looks like Elder Ballard was quite pleased that we were giving her attention for a change.

This is Matt Davis and his new bride. They were preforming that night. Matt and his family have stayed with us each summer as they pass through Moses Lake. We work with Matt's dad, Steve Davis as Alumni Ambassadors, Steve is over the program.
This is Joe Westenskow. He works with the BYU Idaho Foundation. He was raised in Deer Park and Glenn's dad had been his Sunday School teacher. He was also our son Jeremy's room mate at college! Small world!
This is us, as happy as we can be. As hard as I try with my hair, I always wish it looked better, but it is hard to compete with Glenn's perfect head of no hair at all.

Nice pics! I'm glad the moment was captured. Someday, many many years from now, someone will pick up one of those pictures and say, "Hey are they standing with Henry B. Eyring?!?"
