Port Removed

Glenn got his portacath removed this morning. It is simple to take out, hard to put in. He is feeling one step closer to being free! He can't take a shower for 48 hours and can't swim for a week. But hey, that is a small price to pay for freedom! One year ago on September 4 he was diagnoses with cancer. It has been and interesting journey. One that we hope we don't have to take again.

We appreciate all of you who has included him in your prayers. We feel that he has been blessed by our combined faith. He has came out of this a much more compassionate and thankful man.

I have come out of it feeling very thankful and a little more vulnerable. If it could happen to Glenn, it could happen to anyone. So we are trying to make the most of our days and be thankful for our blessings.

We count our faith, our family, our friends and our health as our greatest blessings.
