Today is our grand daughter's 7th birthday. We miss all of our grand children, who are out of state, very much. We hope to be able to enjoy them all soon.
Glenn had a restful day. He helped with a couple of chores, but other than that, he took it easy. He is pretty tired and the worst part is that it hurts to eat and it hurts not to eat. So we are finding foods that are easy to eat, mostly liquid and bland. This should get better as time goes on. His surgery is on Jan 5th, that is going to take a toll, too, but we are hopefully than he will then be cancer free!
He is hoping to do as much of his church assignments as possible tomorrow, he will have to come home and rest in between meetings, but he is looking forward to the day. Again, thank you so much for your love and concern for him, he really appreciates it! So do I.

I'm so glad that round one is over for President Perrins.
Hmmmm...bland...he'd fit in with my cooking :)
Thank you for all the updates. I am so glad this phase is over and that he has "sailed through". I am just sorry for all the pain he has to suffer. You both will be in my prayers for the up and coming surgery. Love you and give my love to Glenn. I loved the birthday tribute and I hope he could enjoy his day without too much discomfort.
Every time that Glenn wakes in the mornings, he is one day closer to being all cured. What a giant of a man he is through all of this. And you my friend are his light, his strength and his reason for going through this. May our Heavenly Father continue to hold you, comfort you and give you that sweet peaceful feeling of "all is well." Hugs.
